Drivers in various forms of motorsports utilize these Sport-Comp tachometers to achieve maximum horsepower when critical shifting is a priority. An advanced air core meter movement provides accuracy and quick response on the popular 5'' Monster face. Sport-Comp tachometers include the exclusive rubber lined shock strap that protects against severe vibrations. A bright amber shift-lite signals any pre-selected rpm to notify the driver to shift. The ''Dial-In-Exactness'' feature actually utilizes the tachometer's fluorescent red pointer to indicate the chosen rpm. By turning a set knob on the tach face - the pointer sweeps up or down until the preferred rpm is selected. The rpm can be checked at anytime by simply switching the knob to Set. Item 3904. Operates on 4 - 6 or 8 cylinder engines with points - electronic and most high performance racing ignitions with 12 volt power.
